Antique 20th century good quality cupboard in oak, a wonderfully unusual and expertly crafted piece, offering an excellent blend of character, practicality and traditional design. Very well made and of good quality, its clever layout and compact proportions make it a particularly desirable example.

The upper section is fitted with two small drawers, beneath which is a unique lift-up cupboard ingeniously disguised as three drawer fronts, creating the appearance of a full bank of drawers while concealing a generous storage compartment.

The base features a practical brushing slide above three genuine drawers, all retaining their original brass handles and fittings. Standing on sturdy bracket feet, the cabinet is both attractive and highly functional.

Beautifully cross-banded throughout, the oak displays a rich, warm colour with striking natural grain that enhances the quality of the craftsmanship.
