Below is a full-width secretaire drawer, the fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior with writing surface, small drawers and pigeonholes for correspondence and stationery. The lower section is enclosed by a pair of panelled cupboard doors opening to useful shelved storage on one side, and enclosed drawers on the other.Raised on turned bun feet, the cabinet displays particularly attractive figured mahogany veneers throughout and offers excellent proportions, combining display, writing and storage within a relatively compact footprint.A handsome and practical piece of early 19th century furniture, equally suited as a bookcase, display cabinet or home office secretaire.DIM...
