Antique Sheraton Style Mahogany Side / Server Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautifully designed antique Sheraton style mahogany side / server table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is of fantastic quality and is a useful compact size. There are three felt lined drawers with brass lions head ring pull handles. There is lovely carving on the edges and down at the bottom of the feet.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.

Sheraton style furniture originated in late 18th-century England, named after designer Thomas Sheraton. It is defined by classical proportions, slim vertical lines, straight fluted legs, bowfront curves, and decorative timber veneers such as mahogany.
