Antique French Gilt Bronze Centrepiece with Glass Insert

Description

This very attractive and decorative Gilt bronze centrepiece features a removable glass insert bowl and is supported on three shaped stylized legs with curled feet on a triangular shaped base. The entire body of the centrepiece is pierced and the glass has a scalloped edging. This bowl would make a lovely decorator’s piece for a range of rooms and settings.

Origin: French, C. 1890
