This is a good 19th century bracket clock with a quality fusee movement and anchor escapement in full working order dating from around 1840. The clock is signed Spurge Dunmow to the convex dial that is painted with Roman numerals. The case has carved mahogany detailing and is raised on attractive gadrooned ball feet.
