Rare Wileman Intarsio Art Nouveau Vase – Pattern No. 3109 – Circa 1900 – Excellent Condition
A charming and highly collectable Wileman Intarsio vase, beautifully decorated in the Art Nouveau style with stylised floral motifs in yellow, crimson, purple, and green, set against a rich dark navy blue ground.
This elegant antique art pottery vase showcases the distinctive Intarsio technique, with bold colours and flowing organic forms typical of the period. Its compact size and attractive shape make it an ideal cabinet piece or display item, and examples of this design and form are increasingly rare, particularly in such fine condition.
The base carries the printed Wileman “Intarsio” mark along with the shape/pattern number 3109, confirming authenticity and period manufacture.
A comparable example is illustrated on page 83 of “Wileman” by Richard Knight and Susan Hill, further supporting its desirability and collectability.
