Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this George III Mahogany Cupboard to the Georgian era.
It has two doors underneath, both of which have a Satinwood strung moulded panel and a Brass door divider with a key and Ivoreen escutcheons. Inside are three original fully adjustable shelves. Down each side of the top half it is inlaid with Satinwood and Ebony. The base has a round edge with a lip underneath and a Satinwood panel to the centre. Following this is two short over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original Brass handles and Ivoreen escutcheons. Each side is inlaid in Satinwood and Ebony. It stands on splayed bracket feet with a shaped Frieze in between. The top lifts off the base for ease of movement.
