An exceptional and highly impressive very large Victorian pollard oak library bookcase of rare double breakfront form, measuring an outstanding 446.5cm wide.

Constructed in eight sections for ease of installation, the bookcase features nine glazed pin doors enclosing adjustable shelving. The beautifully figured pollard oak veneers are enhanced with decorative inlay and refined gilt detailing, adding depth and richness to the façade.

There are 3 drop flaps along the bottom offering enclosed storage.

The proportions are superb, with strong architectural presence and elegant symmetry throughout.
