An very fine quality burr walnut longcase clock from the Quenn Anne period with exceptionally well patinated case. With moulded stepped cornice above a fretwork border and silvered dial surrounded by brass spandrels. The face with seconds ring and date aperture, signed Lan. (Langley) Bradley, London, (Celebrated clockmaker and Master of the Clockmakers Company. Maker of the original; clock for St Pauls Cathedral in 1706, which was replaced in 1893).
