A beautiful pair of antique German pottery vases made by the famous Mettlach factory, circa 1890. Mettlach was one of Germany’s most respected ceramic makers, known for producing high-quality Art Nouveau and decorative wares.

These finely detailed vases feature rich coloured glazes, gilt highlights, and intricate raised foliate and floral scroll designs over a textured stippled background. Elegantly shaped with flared feet, bulbous bodies, and slender necks finished with moulded bands and ornate borders.

Each vase displays exceptional craftsmanship and classic late 19th-century German design. Both remain in excellent original condition, with no cracks, chips, or restoration. The bases are clearly marked with Mettlach factory stamps, U.S. patent details, pattern numbers, and artist’s marks.
