Description

A superb Queen Anne period walnut cabinet on chest of excellent colour and grain.

The top section lifts off the base for ease of transport and features beautifully matched walnut veneers, crossbanded and herringbone inlaid throughout.

The upper cabinet opens to reveal an arrangement of drawers with oak linings, all constructed with fine hand-cut dovetails.

The lower section comprises two short and two long drawers, fitted with elegant brass handles and escutcheons.

Standing on shaped bracket feet, this piece displays the refined proportions and craftsmanship typical of the early 18th century.
