Royal Worcester Reticulated Vase, Great Tits, C. 1900.

Description

Royal Chinaworks Worcester reticulated porcelain vase, ‘Great Tits’, c. 1900. The large, ribbed vase, finely hand painted, probably by James Stinton, with a study of a pair of Great Tits, perched amongst gilt flowering branches.

The reverse with further flowering branches.

All beneath a reticulated scrollwork rim, edged in gilt.

Printed factory marks to the base.

Height – 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.

Diameter – 15.2 cm, 6”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
