A rare and highly decorative pair of Rozenburg Den Haag Art Nouveau vases, each of identical cylindrical form with flared rim on a square base. Hand-painted in vibrant polychrome with birds and blossoming flowers, finished with the renowned transparent �eggshell� glaze for which Rozenburg became famous. Both vases are marked to the base with the Rozenburg Den Haag factory stamp (crown and stork), and show consecutive numbers (276, 298) indicating their sequence in a limited series, along with decorators� marks.
