A good pair of Georgian silver salts with blue glass liners. The silver has pierced and engraved decoration, culminating on ball and claw feet.
In very good condition commensurate with age.
No dents whatsoever to the body of the salts and a few dents to the underside rim.
I have to believe that the glass liners have been replaced at some stage as they are in very good condition and would not have looked the same after 240 years.
A really nice, sturdy and beautifully made pair of salts.
Hallmarks for London 1784 and most likely manufactured by John Wall.
