Dragoncharger Antiques has dated this Japanese Lacquered Porcelain Vase to the 1880s.
The main panels finely decorated with birds, trees and flowers set against landscape / water-pond and foliage background, with superb Koi inserts. The side panels also decorated with extremely fine gold-line cross-hatching. A very difficult technique.

Condition: Good unrestored condition. Small chips and some losses to flared rim. Black lacquer missing mainly around the base (stable and not flaking).
A heavy piece at 5Kg approx.
