A good-size Victorian mahogany campaign cabinet, with brass corner fittings and carrying handles, having a pair of doors with raised and fielded panels within ogee-moulded frames and flanked by fluted ends, which enclose a set of six baize-lined graduated drawers with recessed brass handles, fitted for cutlery and silver tableware. The cabinet is supported on a separate stand with square chamfered legs united by external stretchers. The drawers contain some of the original plated cutlery. Circa 1870
Excellent original colour and surface. Good condition, commensurate with its usage and age (repaired left hand stretcher, minor splits and knocks)

This piece has been in storage for around thirty years and would benefit from a polish.
