Clean gently with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the fragile historical surface or any remnant paper labels.

They can be displayed singly or in clusters on shelves, sideboards, or window ledges where natural light highlights the rich tone and tactile texture of the historical glass.

Authentic pieces exhibit heavy glass with natural imperfections such as seed bubbles, uneven thickness, a deep kick-up base, and a rough snapped or polished pontil mark.

These vessels were typically hand-blown from heavy, dark green or olive-tinted glass, often featuring characteristic bubbles, pontil marks, and irregularities resulting from historical glassmaking methods.

Georgian apothecary bottles were produced during the Georgian era (17141830) and were utilised by chemists and apothecaries to store medicinal liquids, herbs, and compounds.
