Smiths Lner (London North Eastern Railway) Small Wall Clock, Issue No 13878, Circa 1953

Description

For sale this particularly good example of a LNER (London North Eastern Railway) railway issued wall clock, ref LNER 13878, by Smiths, dating circa 1953. This small version has the Smiths Empire movement which is fully stamped including its rare sold out of service stamps marks. The original and unrestored dial is still bright showing only slight ageing and wear. The case retains some stamp marks and is in good cosmetic order.

Dial size 20cm diameter, overall clock front size 27cm diameter and approx. 12.5cm deep. The clock has just been fully service and is in fine working order keeping excellent time. A most attractive Railway issued wall clock of small size which would look good on any wall. Price £695.00 inclusive of shipping to within the UK.
