Sheraton Revival is a late 19th-century design movement inspired by the neoclassical work of 18th-century furniture maker Thomas Sheraton, characterised by delicate proportions, satinwood veneers, and hand-painted classical motifs.

These items predominantly feature exotic woods such as satinwood, mahogany, or harewood, often accented with intricate marquetry, stringing, and delicate hand-painted polychrome decoration.

Authentic pieces from the late 19th to early 20th century exhibit period-appropriate construction methods, such as hand-cut dovetails, secondary woods like pine or oak, and natural ageing within the varnish and paint layers.

The item can be used as an accent piece in a living room or bedroom, pairing well with neutral walls that allow the detailed hand-painted motifs and warm timber tones to stand out as a focal point.

Preserve the fragile hand-painted surfaces by keeping the piece away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Clean only with a dry, soft microfiber cloth, avoiding liquid cleaners, harsh chemicals, and excessive waxing.
