Pair Gilded 19th Century Dutch Glass Decanters C1880

Technical Description
 
A very fine pair of 19th century Dutch glass decanters dating to c1880.
 
Gilded collar to poring rim with gilded flowers down the neck to a lower collar flanked by clear applied handles. The main body has alternating gilded panels of fruiting vine and exotic birds on flowers, each panel being separated by applied clear rigaree.
 
Excellent examples.

Condition
 
Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration, the gilding is in good condition with only minor loss. Originally would have had cork stoppers.
