Pair of Antique Mahogany Bedside Chests

1920 - 1940
Description

A smart and very well made pair of antique mahogany bedside chests. They were made in England in the Queen Anne Style, they date from around the 1930’s.

They are of lovely quality, the bow front shaped tops have useful drawers with beautiful brass handles. They sit on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving at the knees. They are a very useful size for bedside chests, they could equally be used as a occasional side / lamp tables in a living room.

We have had them re-polished, the condition is excellent; the mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina.

Width – 18 inches , 46 cm

Depth – 14 inches , 36 cm

Height – 27 inches , 67 cm
