Whether for a collector or as a standalone hero piece this is a gorgeous piece of horological history. The four knopped pillar single fusee movement has tapered cavetto-shouldered bottle-shaped plates and anchor escapement regulated by lenticular bob pendulum, the backplate engraved with a letter B. It has just benefitted from its once every two decade service and as such commands a three year guarantee.The 16 inch slightly convex circular wooden cream painted Roman numeral dial has been refinished to a very high and original standard and is inscribed J & T Farr, Bristol to the centre.
