Clockwise is pleased to have for sale this lovely eight day fusee ships clock from the respected Chadburns of Liverpool who supplied instruments for many ships. The company was granted the Prince Albert Royal Warrant in the late 19th century and their products were used on the RMS Titanic, the Mauretania and Lusitania along with Japanese, American and British naval vessels and commercial liners. This extremely high quality fusee movement clock is in excellent original condition with the case and movement having just benefitted from a full restoration and the movement having maintaining power for exact timekeeping even during winding. Along with a high quality lever platform, a glorious dial and original bevelled glass to the case door this really is a gorgeous and sought-after piece. The movement is covered by my three year warranty and the whole clock is securely mounted onto a solid piece of restored oak with a hanging fixture to go straight onto your wall. The dimensions include the oak surround. Delivery can be arranged, please contact me for further details.
Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with global clients from the world of business, film, sport, royalty and aristocracy - yet more than happy with traditional clients - Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
