Gents 1940s Smiths Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1940s Smiths wrist watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The balance bridge has been replaced at some stage.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and handsome horn lugs. The case is plated while the case back is stainless steel. It is in lovely condition with just light marking.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
