Masons Antiques has dated this Brass Repeating Carriage Clock to the 1880s.
The white enamelled dial has black Arabic numerals and finely cut hands. It is totally free of any chips, cracks or crazing. There is a subsidiary dial for setting the alarm.

The clock strikes on two blued steel coiled gongs. It strikes a "ting-Tong" strike on the quarters and the number of hours on the hour.
There is a repeat button to the top of the clock which repeats the previous hour.

There is a STRIKE/SILENT button to the base of the clock to switch off the quarter striking if required.
The 8 day movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
Height shown is with the handle down.
