Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1940s.
I have for sale an F.W Elliott Ltd 14" fusee dial clock dated 1941 with the RAF insignia at the top of the dial and the sector markings in blue red & yellow the clock is in as found condition in a shed in Tangmere West Sussex and purchased by me at Ford boot/antiques fair, this is one of the most original examples I have seen and I would recommended leaving the dial and movement as is but that is up to the new owner.

The clock
All that I have done since owning it is to run it, it is in original condition never played with having the painted black solid cast brass bezel.

The bezel is cast brass and has the original catches it has been painted black.
The movement is clean I serviced it and it is running really strong , I think this clock has never been messed with since 1941.

The movement is signed F.W. Elliott Ltd and has a number this keeps good time over eight days with a pleasing tick and is a fusee chain driven movement the pendulum and key are also present.
Overall This clock must be quite rare to retain all the original features pendulum/pegs/bezel/dial a very nice clock that looks great on display and keeps very good time, you are welcome to visit and see the clock and ask any questions you like, the new owner I am sure will love this old piece of history.

As with all my clocks, this one is sold with a ‘back-to-base’ 3-month guarantee. I also offer future clock servicing, which I carry out personally at a heavily discounted rate.
I will post worldwide.
The clock will be hand delivered or posted which ever the safer and cheaper option is please email for a delivery cost to save posting if you prefer this also collection is OK .
