Stunning early Scottish art glass Monart bowl in pale blues with some intertwined green. Bubble design to the bottom half of the bowl. No damage but slightly rubbed on one side. The three brothers; Vincent, Augustine and Salvador then split up from their father and formed Vasart Glass (originally named Ysart Brothers) in 1947. The two firms then both produced similar style of glass simultaneously for a period before Vasart glass became Strathearn Glass in 1965.
