A fine George III dial clock in a mahogany case, the mahogany surround with moulded edge and with a hinged cast brass bezel with convex glass to the 14” brass dial with a broad raised chapter ring with Roman numerals in black and outer minute track with Arabic five minute intervals and an inner quarter marking track, around a matted centre with decorative pierced black steel hands and a fitted shaped plate marked L J Meyer, to an eight day fusee timepiece movement with an anchor escapement within A-shaped brass plates, fitted at the back with an integral iron loop and with stabilisers at the sides, English circa 1780.
