17th Century Oak Coffer.

A three panel oak coffer having a moulded and flush panelled lid above a front with channel moulded rails and raised panels with a moulded edge.
 
A very clean and original oak chest, constructed using quarter sawn oak which displays the decorative medullary rays.
 
Of a pegged construction and in excellent condition, retaining good height to the legs, all original boarding, till and escutcheon. With replaced hinges.
