Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It stands very elegant. The case retains its original bracket feet. The hood has its original heavy grade brass cast bezel with the original glass. The dial is white enamel with original decorative brass hands. The movement is 8 day and completely original, striking on a bell on the hour. The movement has been fully cleaned and restored. The case trunk door has a brass lock with working key.

This clock would have easily retailed for over £5000 ten years ago which just goes to show what fantastic value for money they are now.
