A decorative Danish / Swedish / Bornholm 19th Century longcase clock. The enameled face is signed P Jaiobjen, with brass hands. The hood has dental cornice and a carved circular leaf motif, beneath which is another dental moulding. The reeded door opens to the clocks pendulum and original lead weights, all the metal work is also original.
The case is on a tapered base, with a central carved swag motif. The clock is in working order and the mechanics were restored four years ago. Possibly from the island of Bornholm.
Circa 1820 - 1840.
