Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco perfume atomizers from the 1920s and 1930s are characterised by geometric shapes, stylised motifs, and the innovative use of moulded or pressed glass reflecting modern industrial design trends of the period.

These pieces typically combine pressed or cut coloured glass reservoirs with metal hardware, usually nickel-plated or chrome-plated brass, alongside fabric-covered rubber squeeze bulbs and tassels.

Authenticity is usually determined by examining the construction methods, such as period-specific metal collars, makers marks on the base, the weight of the moulded glass, and the characteristic patina on the metal hardware.

These decorative objects work well when displayed on a mirrored tray atop a dressing table, bathroom counter, or open shelf, adding a touch of vintage glamour and texture to contemporary spaces.

To preserve these items, keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent discolouration, clean the glass gently with a soft damp cloth, and avoid submerging vintage metal hardware or old rubber mechanisms in water.
