The clock is in excellent original condition with fine patination and colour.
The high quality case veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut, with brass mounts.
The fully restored high quality spring driven movement, ting tang striking the quarter hours on two blued steel gongs and the hour on a single gong. Stamped to the backplate Lenzkirch - 1 Million 205024, dating to 1898.

This fine example is in the top tier of clocks Lenzkirch made in their high quality range.
Lenzkirch were regarded as the best clockmakers in Germany during the late 19th, early 20th century and produced some wonderful quality clocks.
This example is in fine condition with the movement fully restored by our FBHI and Worshipful Clockmakers Company awarded horologist.
The video shows the clock striking at quarter to the hour.
The clock strikes the number of hours on a single gong and then continues the ting tang sequence for the quarters.
Two chimes for quarter past, four chimes for half past and six chimes for quarter to (as featured in the video clip).
