Description

A nice little 18th Cent longcase clock by Plimmer of Wellington, Shropshire. This is thought to be Nathanial Plimmer who worked there from 1770 to 1783.

The case is in oak with walnut inlaid banding and is in good original unrestored condition.

The 30 hour movement has a single hand and date aperture. The spandrels look to have been moved or replaced but look to be the correct period. The movement looks to be complete but needs some attention as it is currently not working.

The maximum dimensions are:

186cm (73") high

47cm (18.5") wide

24cm (9.5") deep

Free local delivery (30mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost

Date of Manufacture

Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
