Description

George 111 Mahogany 8 Day Grandfather Clock by Thomas Morgan Edinburgh. The 12" arched white painted face having etched decoration with seconds and calendar dial. The movement striking hours on a single bell. The hood having a swanneck moulded swanneck surmount with blind frett decoration and brass roundles centred by a gilded finial. Reeded columns with brass capitals flanking the arched glazed door. The sides having arched glazed windows. The door having ebony and boxwood stringing and shaped top. Flanked by reeded quarter pillars with inlaid stringing below. The base with conforming stringing and sitting on shaped bracket feet.

In working order.

18" wide 9" deep 88" high
