Georgian Revival refers to a design movement that reinterprets the classic architectural and decorative motifs popular during the reigns of the British Georges, typically characterised by symmetry and refined cutting techniques.

These items are typically crafted from heavy, lead-free or lead crystal glass featuring hand-cut facets, accompanied by sterling silver or silver-plated serving spoons.

Authentic pieces often exhibit minor surface wear, slight irregularities from hand-polishing, sharp facet edges, and traditional maker marks or silver hallmarks on the accompanying spoon.

Placed on a dining table centrepiece or kitchen shelving, it adds textural contrast, catching light through its faceted glass surfaces while serving a functional purpose.

Wash glass gently in lukewarm soapy water using a soft cloth, avoiding harsh abrasives, and polish the silver component separately with a dedicated non-abrasive silver cloth.
