Seikosha was the Pre Runner to Seiko.
 
Starting in 1881 Kinato Horatti Opened a Clock & Jewellery Shop and in 1891 setup a Clock Manufacturing Company he called Seikosha - now called Seiko- the Famous Watch Maker.He invested heavily in the latest American Clock Msking Technology.
 
Rare attractive Mahogany with Quality Inlay Decoration.
 
Dial inscribed “Manufactured by Seikosha Tokyo Japan and the Trade Mark “S” within a Diamond and a Circle.

8 Day Movement with Pendulum Regulation, in Good Antique Working Order. Single Strike on the Half Hour and the Number of Hours on the O’clock.
