Description

A pretty little cottage Longcase clock. The case is in oak with mahogany crossbanding. The makers name is faded but it probably dates from the first quarter of the 19th Cent.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a painted dial with original matching hands.

The case is in good unrestored condition and the trunk door has a working lock and key.

The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. It is a bit dirty and could probably do with a service in the medium term. As such it is sold without any guarantee.
