Very good quality and elegant Regency mahogany and brass strung fusee drop dial wall clock by Thomas Kellitt of Thorne (South Yorkshire), circa 1820.
8 day fusee movement with a “passing strike” so it strikes once on every hour only and being wire driven it will keep very accurate time throughout the 8 days.
Octagonal case with a beaded edge, bow glass in original cast bezel and fan shaped spandrels.
The movement is in good working order.
