Lancashire Made Lantern Clock. Circa 1680.

This is a very rare Lantern clock.
 
It is ex-balance wheel escapement, now long Anchor Recoil escapement and having double winding, 12 hour duration trains. Extremely rosbust construction with iron plates, bell strap, countwheel etc.
