The sound frets to the sides are backed with a red/plum colour material to let the sound out and the back door has a large sound fret too. The movement is like the 'Rolls Royce'of clock movements, a very solid chain fusee for both the Strike and and the Time trains. A heavy brass pendulum bob with keep. 8 day duration and wound from the front under the convex glass with a key. Standing on cast bracket feet.
