The movement plates are shouldered and the rear plate has neat border engraving of semi-circles consisting of wriggle work. The back cock, fixing brackets and pendulum transit holdfast are also engraved. The pendulum rod has a regulation nut cradle and the rod is graduated. The movement also has pull repeat striking.Behind a 7'' diameter, bowed painted dial that retains its base paint. It is rimmed with a brass sleeve and has a black minute track and Roman hour numerals. The gilded brass hands are matching ''spade'' style.
