This really is one of those clocks that needs to be seen in the ''real world'' as we feel that the clock will not show its true self online. The woods which were used to make this clock have been chosen by a skilled cabinet maker and the colours work beautifully together. The fine marquetry inlays have been executed well and the attention to detail is sublime. The dial is perfect and showing fine Romans numerals, the Moon hands are the original and the movement has just benefited from a complete overhaul.
