Art Deco Clock And Garniture

A striking blue and cream onyx mantel clock with flanking garniture. This stylish chrome and onyx mantel clock with an usual pendulum has an eight day Pendule de Paris movement striking on a gong. The french movement numbered 1988 and marked FC on the back plate.
 
This is a rare survival keeping it’s two flanking vases and would have been an expensive object when first sold in the 1930’s, The Moderne style of this clock ticks all the art deco boxes, even down to the geometric pendulum with chrome plated case metal, capitals to the columns and bun feet this clock would be a stylish edition to any home.
