A 1930s Fusee dial clock with a 12'' dial in a solid mahogany, dovetailed case, with a very thick wooden rim and brass bezel.The CaseIn solid mahogany and stands 15” in width x 5.5'' in depth. It is in beautiful original condition well waxed and polished over the years maintaining a nice colour. The clock has an opening side and bottom door, a complete back box complete and a steel hanging bracket at the top.The DialIn original condition, including its GPO mark, which and 12” across. It’s painted white with Roman numerals and is covered by glass in a heavy brass bezel.The MovementAn eight-day time-only Fusee, it is a thick plated heavy built movement with sturdy pillars and very fine crutch; a sign of a top-quality old movement. The Fusee is run via the original cord; and she still retains her original pendulum and key.
