An early1860s French mantle clock made in France by japy Freres pre medal awards on the outside count wheel and signed on the backplate of the movement.The CaseThe case is in shell and brass inlay it is simply stunning on the eye and standing at 113.5” high x 7” wide and 4” in depth all in all in very good condition with no missing brass inlay a beautiful clock that would grace any house.The DialThe dial is in good original condition in white porcelain and brass inlay design to the center with the original black fine moon hands all set off with Roman numerals.
