Lovely quality painted face oak longcase clock - Joseph Raine of Durham circa 1800.

The hood with swan neck pediment , brass finial and reeded columns, mahogany and boxwood stringing inlay detail.

The trunk with shaped door, decorative mahogany and shell inlay details, brass pendulum and lead weights.

The painted face with working date aperture, eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell and is good working order.... overall this very handsome clock is in good sound condition.
