Charming early 19th century Louis XVI style, French Empire period patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock surmounted by a beautifully cast and chased King Charles spaniel with his foot on a sphere. Substantial feeling patinated bronze case with exotic floral spandrel corner ormolu mounts. Later replacement brocot eight day two train movement. France, case early 19th century circa 1815, movement circa 1850.
