The backplate and back cock are engraved in floral Rococo style.Behind a finely executed, 7'' wide, brass break-arch dial with cast brass Rococo spandrels to the corners and arch, a silvered chapter ring with outer Arabic 5''s, a minute track and short Roman hour numerals. The arch carries the Strike/Silent selecting chapter and both have finely matted centres. The arch is bordered with the silvered maker''s nameplate bearing ''DANIEL VAUGUION LONDON''.
