Clockwise is proud to offer for sale this lovely rosewood cased and Mother of Pearl inlaid eight day fusee timepiece clock made by the respected John Benham of Cullompton. Not to be confused with its smaller cousins this impressive case houses a thirteen-inch round painted dial with black Roman numerals, decorative blue steel hands and is signed John Benham, Cullompton. The rosewood drop-dial case has an octagonal surround with carved flora and grape ears and an oval glazed aperture to the drop allowing for viewing of the pendulum bob, all with mother-of-pearl floral inlaid decoration. The bottom door still has its original key and working lock and there are two side inspection doors. The dial has been left in its original condition but the case and movement have been restored and the clock of course comes with my two year guarantee as standard. The case measures 31 inches tall, 19.5 inches wide and is 6.5 inches deep.
